One-pot Savoury Fish Porridge
Not the prettiest, but a very easy Chuck-everything-in-pot nutritious warm meal prep.
Savoury Oats (Fish Porridge)
Ingredients
- 50g dry oats
- 500g frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 bag frozen sutchi fish chunks , 500g
- 1 cube fish stock
- water
Optional
- spices & flavours: salt, pepper, light soy sauce, Italian herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, curry powder to taste
- 300g egg whites
- 200g riced cauliflower to further increase the volume
- 3g psyllium husk
Instructions
- Chuck all ingredients in a pot
- Bring to a boil, stir and simmer until fully cooked
Optional
- At the end, stir in the eggwhites for additional protein and creaminess
- Serve with a drizzle of sesame oil, white pepper and spring onions on top
