Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 180 g liquid egg whites (≈ ¾ cup / ~4 large egg whites)
  • 10 g corn starch / arrowroot starch / almond flour (see note)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 80 g pizza sauce / marinara (~⅓ cup)
  • 30 g shredded cheese (or dairy-free alternative)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 150–165°C (300–325°F)
  • In a bowl, whisk together egg whites, starch, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper
  • Lightly grease or line a baking sheet
  • Pour mixture and spread into a thin circle
  • Bake 23–25 minutes until set and slightly golden
  • Add toppings
  • Spread sauce evenly
  • Sprinkle cheese on top
  • Broil / grill
  • Broil for 1–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly
  • Serve immediately

Notes

  • Spreading thin = crispier (this matters more than temp)
  • You can air fry at ~160°C for similar results
  • Add chili flakes / paprika if you want more flavour
  • Works great as a high-protein low-carb pizza base
