The Review

Pros and cons:

  • ➕ Super low calorie & high protein. Basically the epitome of volume eating.
  • ➕ Super high protein and volume
  • ➕ Few ingredients
  • ➕ Kinda looks like bread (my brother looked at it and said “I thought you said we were out of bread!”)
  • ➖ Ugly and misshapen (the @mariaemmerich load is more even)
  • ➖ Taste—A bit of an acquired taste, kind of tangy
  • ➖ Texture—Quite a few people in the comments said it was like Memory Foam. They were right..
  • ➖ Eggwhite powder can be quite expensive and obscure (hard to find) an ingredient

More thoughts:

  • The texture wasn’t the best but it grew on me. I thought the texture wasn’t too uniform throughout the loaf though. The outside was rather tough and chewy, could choke on it. But the inside was more tender.
  • Quite sturdy.

👉❌ Verdict: It’ll do if desperate for something bread-like. Fantastic macros though can eat the whole thing without guilt. Not bad to eat with a spread of sorts on top.

Take #2: Trying the same, but using eggwhite instead of eggwhite powder
