@dietdessertz 50-calorie lemon loaf cake

The Recipe (adaptations mine)

1. Make cake. Mix dry into wet & bake in a loaf tin for ~25min. Cool upside down.

Dry

  • 45g flour
  • 45g salted caramel whey
  • 4g baking powder, salt

Wet

  • 75g erythritol
  • 55g low fat yogurt
  • 45g eggwhites
  • 15g lime juice
  • 60g unsweetened soy milk

2. Make syrup. Brush it on top / poke holes and pour it in so it’s more moist and flavourful.

  • 30g lime juice
  • 20g powdered erythritol

3. Make glaze. Top the cake with it when cool.

  • 60g powdered erythritol
  • 12g lime juice

Review

  • Pretty good! Passed the normie test.
  • Crumb looked rly legit. Moist.
  • A bit too much effort to make on the regular though.
  • Tastes better & moist when fresh, gets a bit tasteless/not so tender after fridging for a while.
